Wheel Throwing
You’ll learn about the characteristics of clay and the basics of wheel throwing including centering and learning to throw simple forms, as well as surface decoration techniques and glazing.
Handbuilding
During this session, you will learn the basics of hand-building with clay. You will learn how to build functional and sculptural ware as you are taught the foundations of how clay behaves. You will have the opportunity to focus on independent projects during the session. This session will prepare you well for a wheel-throwing class.
Spin Sessions For Two
Looking for a creative way to kick off a date night, bond with your workmates with a team-building event, or just have a fun friends’ night out? Want to try throwing on a pottery wheel? What better way to bond than over clay!
In this course, you will learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel with guided instruction! You will be provided with clay and 3 choices in color. In 2-3 weeks you will be contacted to pick up the work!
BYOB (participants subject to ID check) and we’ll provide everything else.
